inquiry project｜What is the Future Retro?｜convertible lighting
The design of WYFY Lamp began with the question, “What is the Future Retro?”
Its visual language draws on retro sensibilities, expressed through simple, familiar forms and bold primary color. To this, we added a future-oriented approach, allowing users to assemble geometric modules and complete the lamp in their own way. As a result, WYFY is not a fixed object but a flexible lighting system that transforms from a mood light to a pin lamp depending on the setting. Beyond providing illumination, it acts as a playful object within the space, with a silhouette that balances minimalism and wit.

조명까지 상황에 맞게 변주할 수 있는 유연한 조명을 제안한다. 조명의 본질적 기능을 넘어 공간에 위트를 더하는 오브제가 되도록, 미니멀하면서도 재치
있는 실루엣을 구현하는 데 집중하였다.
