LEFF amsterdam
'THE DAY' was designed to propose a new lineup of Dutch watch brand 'LEFF amsterdam'. We received functional and conceptual inspiration from the sundials that expressed the change of day and night in Korea in the past. A common clock movement and a movement that rotates one cycle per day are simultaneous. Daily-based movement tells day and night with LED light and color changes. 'THE DAY' connects the user's time and daily life naturally.
'THE DAY'는 네덜란드 시계 브랜드 'LEFF amsterdam'의 새로운 라인업 제안을 목적으로 디자인되었다. 과거 한국의 낮과 밤의 변화를 표현해주었던 해시계에서 기능적, 개념적 영감을 받았다. 일반적인 시계 무브먼트와 하루에 한 사이클로 회전하는 무브먼트가 동시 움직인다. 데일리 기준의 무브먼트는 LED 라이트와 컬러의 변화로 낮과 밤을 알려준다. 'THE DAY'는 사용자의 시간과 일상을 자연스럽게 연결해준다.
