CHEONGJU SATO TEA SET
Collaboration project｜with Lee SolChan Studio｜Tea set
The Cheongju White Porcelain Tea Set was created as part of a design development collaboration project supported by the Cultural Heritage Foundation. By blending the traditional techniques of a National Intangible Cultural Heritage holder with a contemporary sensibility, the design preserves the essence of Korean ceramics while reinterpreting its lines and surfaces in a modern way. The resulting restrained silhouette and balanced proportions rest comfortably in the user’s hand, fulfilling both practicality and aesthetic appeal. Through this careful balance, the set allows users to experience the spirit of Korean ceramics in everyday life with ease.
청주 백자 다기 세트는 문화재재단이 지원하는 디자인 개발 협업 사업의 일환으로 제작되었다. 국가무형문화재 이수자의 전통 기법에 현대적인 감각을 더해, 도자의 본질은 지키되 선과 면을 새롭게 해석했다. 절제된 실루엣과 안정적인 비례감은 손끝에 편안히 닿으며, 실용성과 미감을 동시에 충족시킨다.
